26 April at 7.30pm: The Sheffield Free Bird Challenge with Peter Brown
In 2016 well known Sheffield bird watcher Pete Brown set out to see how many bird species he could find in the Sheffield area in one year at no cost to his pocket or the planet! Birding only by bike, boots and bus (senior citizen’s bus pass) Pete set a target of finding 150 different birds and raising £1,500 for Cancer Research UK. His talk looks at highs and lows encountered during the year and shows just how rich in bird life our city and its surroundings can be.
Tickets £5, available from library reception now.
