Library Update 3 April 2026

Romanian Shoebox Appeal. Working with the Amen Trust, the library is collecting shoe boxes to send to families living in poverty in Romania. More details (and a list of what we’re collecting) here.
The online public access catalogue (OPAC) for our yellow-sticker collection is at greenhill.salcirc.org. Here, you can search the catalogue by author, title or genre. You will need to create a login, which will also allow you to place holds, renew books, and more. There are detailed instructions here. Note: we have had to disable public access to the OPAC (i.e. without logging in) due to overload from AI robots crawling the site.
Our monthly lottery provides a way for you to support the library via a regular monthly donation, and a chance to win cash prizes. You can register online using this link, or pick up a paper registration form from the library.
